Soothing

Lila's beginning to be able to soothe herself with own fingers.

Storytime with Sara

Noah will happily press any and all visitors into reading him a story or twelve.

Hide and seek

Noah's current favourite game is hide and seek. One person hides under
the blanket and the other person tries to find them.

After some serious searching my Mom was able to find Noah.

Lila & Liz

My mom is something of a baby whisperer.

Noah & Lila

Lila lights up whenever Noah is nearby.

Jesse & Noah

Noah and his cousin Jesse have some sort of amazing trans-generational
bond. They play together like they've known each other all of their
lives.

Ivan & Lila

Munich Synagogue

We went to a kosher restaurant in the new Munich synagogue complex.
The synagogue is a powerful piece of architecture, and feels
appropriate for the history of the place.

Riding the rabbit

Halloween Dinosaur!

Doris & Noah

Noah had a very nice time playing with his abuela.

Doris & Lila

Doris came to visit just over a month ago, and she and Lila had a lot
of fun playing together!

Karen & Lila

Catching up on uploading some pictures. This is from a month ago.

Lila and her cousin Karen!

We had a lovely surprise visit from my cousin Karen.

Driving to Vancouver!

We got back to Seattle last night at 8:45 pm. Noah went to sleep right away, and got up at 3:45, early even by Toronto standards.

We just got back from the grocery store and Noah asked if he could drive us to Vancouver.

So we're pretending to drive to our friend Sara's house to visit her and give her hugs.

Beautiful day in November!

Noah's lovely new hat!

It's a sunny but cool day, so we're playing at the park. Noah's sporting his new Peruvian hat.

Cleaning up redux...

Noah's current favourite way to pass some time.

Napping in the car

Lila's progress

Lila slept for 6.5 hours last night, ate voraciously, and then slept for another 3 hours.

Here she is, asleep on my chest.

Lila at 4 weeks!

She's doing really well, as are we all!

Ready for any weather

I put Noah in his raincoat this morning. Opening the front door I observed aloud that it was sunny. Noah asked for his hat and sunglasses, and so was ready for anything that Seattle had to offer.

Respite

On the six block walk back to the car Noah stated, "I just want to rest for a short long minute". So we did.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Lunch

It's probably the last really pretty summer's day in Seattle and we're out for a lovely lunch.
Karen's developed a one-handed feeding technique, and it seems to work really nicely.
