Noah & the squeaky mouse

Noah noticed that the mouse was kind of squeaky, so we had to oil him up...

Conversations from this evening

Here are a few snippets from Noah.

Noah and I were lying down under the dining room table (hiding from the crocodiles) when Noah said, "I hear a mouse, it's squeaking! I got an oil bottle, let's fix his squeaks"!
(we reach up and wiggle our fingers in a small hold on the underside of the table, then he pauses)
"He's still squeaking, I'll get some tools and we'll fix him".
(Noah comes back with one of his hammers and a phillips screwdriver. We carefully hammer and, in Noah's terms "screwdriver")
"He's stopped squeaking, he's better now"!

(Still under the table)
"It's bedtime, I need to go and get some pillows and blankets and animals"
(He gets out from under the table and then comes back bearing his supplies. He gives me the polar bear puppet and keeps the small bean bag cat and salamander)
"let's trade animals"
(he takes the polar bear, gives me the cat and keeps the salamander)
"Now we should put on our blanket, can you help me put on the blanket"?
(I wrap him in the blanket that he brought)
"Now you need to put the blanket on you, we can share, sharing is good"

(Out from under the table, in the main room)
"Daddy, can we play soccer ball"?
"why do you kick like that? "If you kick with the front you can push it with your toes".
(*Note, I kick with the instep of my foot)

He's very sweet, and one of the truly lovely people in the world.

Fire truck

We were out for a drive, Noah saw a fire truck and got very excited!

So we went to the local park and sat in the play fire truck.

We washed a lot of fires!

Noah visits daddy's office

He really liked the walls you can draw on!
