We went to a pumpkin patch over the weekend. They had a cow train and Noah went on it so many times he got a bulk discount!

Lila really likes avocados. We went shopping and Lila saw a bag of avocados. She's spent the last 20 minutes stroking and cuddling the bag of avocados.

Doris and I took Noah and Lila fishing today. Noah and I caught two trout. Lila found a comfy place to sleep and got herself a  great nap.

We went hiking with some good friends this weekend. Noah did all two miles by himself! Noah and Justine took a moment's rest to admire the waterfall at the turn-around point.

Cheese Sandwich

We went to Carkeek park, a lovely ocean-side park with some amazing views. Lila was hungry, so Karen offered her some of Noah's grilled-cheese sandwich. She liked it, and grabbed half the sandwich out of Karen's hand. She ate the entire thing!

Lila's working on standing up, she's getting better. Two seconds after I took this picture she stood on her own for around a second!

Language is a fun thing

Noah wanted to know how air got inside the pump. He was confused about how it stayed inside, because as he explained "air is so flyish".

I was driving him home from school and we were going down a very steep hill. I asked him if the crests gave him butterflies in his stomach. He said they did. He then said "I like butterflies, some of them are so pretty, but some are just blank".
