Noah at the beach

Noah really loves the sand and the water.

Noah and the hat

Noah started off life not enjoying hats at all. He's since come around.

Lila and the hat

Lila really likes hats. She got ahold of Karen's hat, and had a very nice time wearing it.

Sugar Cane Train

One of Noah's Hawaiian highlights was getting to take a train ride on an old steam train called the Sugar Cane Train. Doris and Lila enjoyed themselves too.

Doris & Lila in Hawaii

We just got back from Hawaii. We had a great trip, very relaxing and very enjoyable. Doris and Lila were patient enough to put up with my incessant photography.

Lila likes beans

One of Lila's nicknames is "Bean". The great coincidence is that she really, really is liking beans these days.

I simply cannot emphasize enough how much she's really enjoying beans...

Snow play!

Noah, Lila, Naomi and I went up to the snow a few weeks ago. Our friend David and his daughter Justine took the tools to make an igloo, and so we did!

Anna's lineage

Noah was talking to me on the airplane back from Hawaii.

"Daddy, Anna (his stuffed monkey) has two mommies and two daddies! The one daddy is you, and the other daddy is a step-daddy, who is me! Her one mommy is mommy, and the other mommy is Lion (his stuffed lion)".

Bedtime chat

I finished singing Noah his first bedtime song, and he turned to me an asked, "Daddy, how many worlds are there?"

I told him there were many worlds, but only one earth.

He responded, "I'm pretty sure there are many worlds."

I conceded the point, and sang him an extemporaneous song about the many worlds interpretation.
