Noah's new bicycle!

Noah got a new bicycle for his birthday. He rode it for 2 hours straight!

Siblings

We spent a full month away from Seattle. It was great seeing everyone and reconnecting with family. One wonderful outcome was that Noah and Lila seemed to have forged a strong friendship. They're amazing kids.

Cousins

Noah, Jesse & Lila had a lot of fun playing together.

Karen took the kids to Larry, Karen and Jesse's house for father's day while I went on a bike ride with some papas.

Noah and Lila went to their cousin Jonah's superhero themed 3rd birthday party. Nuclear Noah and Laser Lila were both amazing additions to the superhero pantheon.

Lila's first haircut!

Doris, Karen and I have all trimmed Lila's hair, but she only just had her first professional haircut. She was nonplussed. Luckily Granny Lizzie was there to lend a comforting hand.

Slide!

Lila is fairly fearless. She has yet to meet a slide that can deter her. Not even the power of static electricity can hold her back!

Noah & Jesse

Noah turned 5 in Toronto, and his special birthday treat was his first sleepover with Jesse at Liz & Ivan's house.

They had a great time, and even slept at night!

Pinwheel (or whirligig)

Whatever you call them, Lila loves playing with them. She'll even share. Naomi is an expert pinwheeler (or whirligiger).
