Noah's observation about odd numbers

Overheard this morning.

Noah: "Mama, I figured something out"
Karen: "What's that?"
Noah: "If you take any odd number and add the smallest possible even number, you'll get the next highest odd number"

Once again, I'm impressed!

Lila rejected her superman cape in favour of the much more stylish leopard cape.

We went up to the mountains on Sunday. Noah really enjoyed his time in the snow!

Math games

Noah and I were playing a board game where you flip a coin to move forward.

Heads moves you one, tails moves you two.

Noah suggested that we use three coins instead of one. I asked him what the minimum number of spaces was that he could move and he immediately answered "three", and then volunteered that the maximum was six.

Not bad!
