Lila had a very fussy day, but said some funny things. 

After throwing her new metal heart pendant at Karen for the second time she was told she could have it back in two minutes. She shrieked "but two minutes takes half an hour!"

Then when she was choosing her outfit for tomorrow she decided on a sundress but was insisting on wearing shorts as well. I told her that on a 92 degree day she probably wouldn't need shorts. She objected saying "but everyone will see my underwear when I do backflips".

Bowling!

We spontaneously went bowling yesterday.

Noah did the best out of all of us, getting a 112!(for the non-bowlers
amongst, anything over 100 is a great score)

Lila was disconsolate at having a score of 105 🙁

Lila sings her bedtime songs

Every night I sing Lila three songs, "The Grand Old Duke of York",
"Daisy", and "Eliyahu".

Tonight she sang them to me :-)

Kids learning at home

This evening Lila asked if she could please learn how to read, so she
and Karen have been going through Noah's old reading primers!

Independently, Noah asked if he could please practice 3 digit
multiplication to practice for grade 4. An example is 299 x 362. So
far he's gotten them all correct!

Impressive children! 😀

Dinner in the fort

Noah and Lila built a very good fort, and are having a secret fort
dinner inside.
