Vocabularious!

Noah's vocabulary has been growing by leaps and bounds. We were sitting at the farmers market and Noah heard me say "canonical". He immediately started saying "can-i-cal".

He's also been stringing together sentences. Karen was driving Noah to a friends house for BBQ. I was riding my bike to the BBQ and Noah was asking for "Daddy". Karen explained that I was riding my bike and that he would see me soon. Noah then starting explaining to Karen that "Daddy, baku (his word for bicycle), soon".

He's also warming up to the word "no". When we ask him most questions, he responds with a very happy "no". That doesn't mean that'll refuse to do whatever we ask him, just that he wants to say "no". Two nights ago I asked him if wanted to go upstairs to sleep. He said "no"! I said "Great! Let's go!" and he ran upstairs.

Karen overheard him practicing saying no. He was having both sides of a conversation, which went like this.

"Peas"?
"No"!
"Peas"?
"No"!
"Peas"?
"No"!

He's also been going to sleep practicing the names of everyone he knows, grouped by relationship to each other.

He's just fantastic.

Love to everyone,

Paul
